WHAT’S ON AT THE HOP

Right in the centre of Old Town, we’re a bit of a community hub. The Hop supports local artists and artisan makers, giving them space to showcase their work; gets people thinking and laughing with pub quizzes and comedy nights, and we are a nice little venue for live music. Happy to hear from anyone with good ideas for events that bring people together.

COMEDY AT THE HOP

Every first Wednesday of every month, upstairs at The Hop, we host Swindon’s Old Town Comedy Club, MC’d by Sam Michael.  Cash tickets £5 at the bar or online (+ booking fee). Keep an eye on our social media for updates.

ART EXHIBITIONS

Our walls are a gallery for local artists to display their work, with exhibitions changing every six weeks. Now that Swindon Museum & Art Gallery has closed we’re the largest exhibition space in Old Town and maintain a high standard of work by professional and semi-professional artists. We also exhibit the work of therapeutic community groups and students starting out in the creative industries. Keep updated on the exhibitions on our social media.

If you’d like to exhibit at The Hop Inn, please read our info for artists and send a couple of photos of your work to [email protected]
